Keeping Communities Safe
One of the greatest things about this district is its embrace of diversity and its reputation as a safe community for all. Safety comes in many forms, and Allison will work to ensure that all of our neighbors are safe from violence, no matter their race, religion, immigration status, sexual orientation or gender identity, or any other aspect of their identity.
What Allison is going to do about it
Montgomery County is for everyone and Allison wants everyone to feel safe living here.

That means that we need public safety officials that do not collude with immigration enforcement or states that seek to punish women for their reproductive choices. Our police and sheriffs need to be concerned with the safety of the people living here, not political scare tactics that are outside their duties to our residents. I commit to reviewing and limiting the ability for outside agencies to access data from automated license plate readers in the Montgomery County, which has been used elsewhere to track people across state lines for immigration violations or receiving out of state healthcare.

Allison has a long history as an activist for abortion rights and reproductive autonomy and will continue to fight for people to make their own reproductive decisions, to support parents and families, and to protect LGBTQ+ rights and safety.

She sees Montgomery County as a place where people of all races, religions, and backgrounds are welcomed and protected.
